Rob Patience

He started work at the Prudential as a Property & Business Interruption underwriter in 1979, focusing on the Real Estate sector before moving into the broking sector in 1993, joining Sedgwick (now Marsh & McLennan).

For the next 27 years Rob worked in increasingly senior Client Relationship management roles on some of Marsh’s largest multi-national clients.

Rob has worked across multiple industry sectors including Real Estate, Retail, Hospitality, Sports, Leisure, Gaming, Banking, Engineering and Construction. His experience includes developing and managing complex global and multi-national insurance programmes across many lines of insurance including those with Captive Insurance Companies. In addition, Rob’s expertise includes identifying and recommending risk management mitigation strategies for non-insurable risk.

Rob has been a Consultant at JPIC since 2021, working on various risk and insurance-related client projects. Since 2021, he has also fulfilled the role of Head of Insurance for a large private UK Property Company.

Outside of work and a busy family life, Rob is a keen Cricket and Rugby Union fan and an enthusiastic if somewhat inconsistent golfer!   He enjoys holidaying in sunnier climes than generally found in the UK, socialising with friends and family and good wine.
